This is a staple recipe in our house. Because its simple, healthy and tastes soooo good.
2 salmon fillets
2 tablespoons Bee Savvy Hot Pepper Honey
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp fresh squeezed lime juice
sea salt and freshly ground pepper
1 tbsp coconut oil (or alternative)
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Whisk lime juice, garlic, Bee Savvy Hot Pepper Honey together and set aside.
Pat salmon fillets dry. Season with salt and pepper.
Using cast iron skillet on medium-high heat. Add oil and heat. Once oil is warm sear both sides for 2 minutes.
Pour glaze over all and transfer skillet to oven. Bake for 8 - 12 minutes or until fish is beginning to flake with a fork. (Time will be dependent on thickness of fillets.) We recommend basting fish with warm glaze before serving.
